Spring Activities

The kids played soccer with Franklin Township this year and really enjoyed it.  It was so nice to get out and run after all the snow.  We've had a beautiful spring for soccer.  I love soccer and so it's extra fun watching my kids play!

Coach Matt gave Wilson the nickname of Crazy Legs.  Wilson loved the attention. :)  He was one of the biggest and oldest on his team.  I think in their last game he scored 9 goals! That's what you get for being 6 in the u6 league!

During one of the kids practices Sammy was playing at the playground and came up after a fall with a piece of bark sticking out of his forehead!!  All the playgrounds here have bark for safety reasons. Haha!! I'm pretty sure sand would be safer.  I had to really pull hard to get it out of his forehead and of course it spouted blood. I stopped it with my thumb for about 10 minutes and then it stopped bleeding on its own.  It was pretty traumatic for him (and maybe me a little bit too) and all the kids on the playground were yelling and screaming. :)

But doesn't he look tough!!

Aunty Liz came to visit and do some shopping.  It was AWESOME!
She took the kids to their soccer games while Mark and I ran the Indianapolis Mini and then I pulled Zina out of school for girls day out.
So fun!

Mark and I ran another Mini.  Sure glad I've got this guy to do fun stuff with me!
This half-marathon was a lot harder than my first.  We really found it hard to fit in training for both of us in between residency and four kids but we finished!! And it was nice to do something hard together.
