The last couple of weeks I have tried to create and revel in normalcy....whatever that is. Just everyday life before the chaos of moving again hit.
We got sister missionaries in our ward. Love them! They remind me of my little sister serving in Eastern Canada. We fed them on Sister Richardson's birthday and surprised her with birthday cupcakes and singing. It's fun making other people happy.
Sammy teaching Davey "brotherly" ways.
And yes, he is full out crawling. Just in time for the packing to begin.
I don't actually mind. It's pretty darn cute.
And all of the sudden it's summer! Sprinkler under the tramp and all.
We have been enjoying school in the mornings and then afternoons outside.
LOVE to be outside. Packing makes me sad because I have to be inside. :(
Ha ha. Love homeschooling. I have to get creative with Wilson because he doesn't really like writing. We have been working on forming his letters the proper way and he does not like being told what or how to do something. We are working on his fine motor skills as it is difficult for him to write the letters. I started writing him notes that he has to read and then either copy out or write me a note back. I think this particular day I wrote "Wilson you run super fast." And he wrote this back:
It made me laugh so hard!
I helped him with the spelling and dotted his "e" for him. I love Wilson's silly word humor. He thinks he is so funny and I have been really pleased to see his progress in both reading, writing, and maturing this year.
Wilson also took this picture of a robins nest in our front yard. The kids loved peaking into the nest each morning until one morning on our way to church I said, "Look at that huge bird!" - Just as the massive crow flapped up snagged a brand new baby robin, flew over to the neighbors driveway and started eating it. They were pretty horrified.
Poor little Robin. I don't think a single baby survived.
A rare moment with Dad...just about asleep.
Some favorite Michigan friends, the Mills family came for dinner.
My kids LOVE this family. I think Zina might have her first crush on a certain member of the family also. :)
Look at our beautiful tree! LOVE all the spring blossoms here.
I enjoyed mowing the lawn. It only took about 2hrs!!!
And now the packing is in full swing. Here we go again. At least the next move will be in 3yrs instead of one! Oh ya, and we bought a house. We went down to Indy to search for rentals and ended up feeling like we were supposed to buy. Still feeling weird about that. Weird but good.
Let's just say that we are grateful for personal revelation and hope for the best. The next month will be CRAZY!

I am not surprised that Davey is crawling. He didn't want to wait for me to get there when he was born either!
Wow! Look at you, going going going again! :) I think you've got me beat! :) Good luck with the moving and packing and BUYING A HOUSE!!!! How exciting. You. Will. Love. It. Nothing like making a house your own. Super happy for you! Good luck with the crazies, I'll be thinking of you.
Good luck on the move!
Yay! An update! Cute pics.
