Last month we made the trek to Detroit to attend the temple. Making sacrifices to go to the temple is always so worth it. I am so grateful to the wonderful families that we have met here. We watched kids while 2 couples went to the 10am session and then they watched our kids while us and another couple went to the noon session. Everyone brought a bin of toys and half the time we spent outside and the other half we played inside the stake center right next to the temple. I meant to get a picture of our family in front of the temple after our session but completely forgot and it was pretty hot and humid. The kids were happy to get into the van and head to Costco for a treat.

p.s. This was Mark's only day off in 2weeks - working 12-13hr shifts in the ICU. So grateful that he wanted to spend it driving 4 hours with his family and sitting in the celestial room with me.
Sure do love this guy.
